Who We Are
Here at Gertie's Lonely Guinea Pig Rescue, we strive to make a difference to the lives of guinea pigs and their owners. Our small registered charity rescue will help with any guinea pig(s) that are in need.
We take in any grouping of guinea pigs and strive to re-home them - We always have pairs and singles looking for their forever home.
We also pride ourselves in specialising in helping single guinea pigs find their perfect friend. We specialise in matching bereaved or single piggies up with a partner so these very social animals do not have to live alone.
Our aim is to take in unwanted guinea pigs and ensure they find a loving home with a friend. Either from someone wanting to adopt a friend for their guinea pig or by re-homing pairs that have met and fallen in love here in the rescue.
We treat all guinea pigs as individuals and assess their characters - when making matches.
We are also here to help - with any advice on guinea pig care.
